We have our design and product development in Denmark, in close cooperation with our customers and selected designers. We travel to fairs in Europe and Asia, to get inspiration, most of the time together with our customers. We have partners in Brazil, the Baltic States, China, Indonesia, India, Taiwan, Ukraine, and Vietnam. The diversity of competencies at these markets enables us to supply a broad range of products in many different materials.
With over 120 colleagues in the 2-Connect Family, we have a strong and qualified setup worldwide. We have QC staff placed in all countries and factories where we ship from, securing a high and consistent quality level, firmly kept delivery schedules and highly efficient product development. This allows us to develop new business opportunities in short time. SIX STAGES OF QUALITY CONTROL

SUB-SUPPLIERS
We want to be preventive and in control as much as possible. Visiting sub-suppliers will give us an early indication of quality and delivery as we will be able to retrieve information on when the orders of raw material have been placed and whether quality and treatment process of raw materials complies with our standards and those of our customers .

ARRIVAL AT FACTORY
When materials are delivered from sub-supplier to the factory, quality control as well as assessment of whether the quantity of materials provided is sufficient or production must be made.

MATERIAL PREPARATION
Regardless of whether it is shaping e.g. welding, cutting and polishing or surface treatment e.g. painting, galvanizing and powder coating, control must be made regularly to ensure correct dimensions and right quality.

INLINE PRODUCTION
Close-up inspection and supervision of the assembling process and inline production to guarantee correct dimensions and right quality of the finished products. An assessment of whether the assembling process effects the time of delivery must be made.

FINISHED PRODUCTS
Thorough AQL based quality control is made along with inspection of packaging and loading procedure ensuring safety standards and minimizing damage of products during handling and transportation.

SHIPPING
Final quality control report on every order or container must be made for approval minimum 48 hours prior to shipment. QC reports must be stored for future tracking.
RESPONSIBLE THINKING & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
We care about the environment.
Our approach is to be a company that takes responsibility for our own actions and helps our customers and suppliers to take on theirs.
This already begins in product development, seeking to increase the usage of responsible raw materials and to avoid the use of chemicals.
We are constantly monitoring our factories through the whole supply chain in an open transparent dialogue, expecting all suppliers to comply with our code of conduct and corporate social responsibility.
REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
Since 2022 we have been working closely with external partners to calculate our CO2 emissions on Scope 1+2 and in February 2024, we’ve joined SBTi as we have calculated our Scope 3. This enables us to support our customers’ ambition towards reducing their carbon footprint. Our data level in Scope 1 + 2 is high, consistently tracking data to lower our Co2e and identify areas for improvement is the future. Our biggest challenge is Scope 3, being 99% of our total Co2e emissions. Using the Hybrid method, we have managed to calculate our baseline with an impressive 80,43 %.
FSC
We love wood and we believe in respecting and protecting nature and the forests that give life to our furniture. Therefore, we strive to collaborate with certified forests whenever it is possible, to ensure a green mindset and that forests are alive for generations to come. 2-Connect has been member of FSC since 2014.
More than 90% of our products are FSC certified.
GRS
We are Global Recycled Standard certified to sell products with traceable recycled material. This certification represents a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering products with certified recycled materials to our valued clients, by ensuring traceability in every link of our supply chain.
SBTI
2024 marks a significant milestone, as 2-Connect officially joins SBTi – the Science Based Targets initiative. Our mission lies in ensuring accountability throughout our supply chain. We are committed to reduce our CO2e emissions 42% by 2030 in Scope 1+2, and to reduce scope 1+2+3 emissions with 90% by 2050.
BSCI & BEPI
2-Connect aligns with BSCIs 13 principles to protect workers in our supply chain. Being an international company trading in Asia comes with a responsibility. We shape the development of our suppliers by conducting audits locally at the factories. We motivate our suppliers to engage with the values of BEPI, covering environmental performance areas.
